What you can bid on
Every lot shows its condition: "New" for brand-new stock, or a score out of 10 for the occasional pre-owned item. The photos show the exact item you receive.
- Golf clubs: drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, driving irons, iron sets, wedges and putters.
- Shafts and grips for fitting and rebuilding your clubs.
- Golf apparel: shirts, caps, outerwear and golf shoes.
- Accessories: golf bags, headcovers, rangefinders, balls and training aids.
How OGGA auctions work
- Each auction runs for 3 to 4 days and carries 30 to 50 lots, with a single closing time for every lot.
- Register free with your name, email address and mobile number, then verify your email. Add your residential address before your first bid, as South African law (FICA) requires.
- Bid any amount at or above the minimum next bid shown on the lot. Every bid is binding.
- A bid placed in the final 2 minutes extends that lot by 2 minutes, so nobody can win by sniping in the last second.
- When the auction closes, the highest bid that meets any reserve wins. You get one invoice for everything you won in that auction.
- Log in to ogga.co.za to pay by card or EFT through Paystack. We never email payment links.
Why buy golf equipment at auction
- You set the price. Decide the most you are willing to pay and bid up to it; you never pay more than your own winning bid.
- Mostly new stock, sold by OGGA as the owner of every lot, with the condition stated up front.
- Fair closing. The 2-minute extension rule gives every bidder the chance to respond.
- Anonymous bidding. Other bidders see you as "Bidder 3", never your name. OGGA staff never bid.
- One courier fee per invoice, however many lots you win in the same auction.
